Location: This role is open to candidates located within a 300-mile radius of our Herndon, Virginia headquarters, with periodic travel to headquarters for in-person collaboration.

The Role

Are you a strategic marketer who loves using data and AI to build powerful campaigns? Do you want to use your skills to help transform how K-12 school districts communicate with their communities? We’re looking for a hands-on senior marketer to lead integrated campaigns and drive demand for a high-growth SaaS platform trusted by districts nationwide.

This is a unique opportunity to own and execute our integrated marketing strategy. You'll be at the helm of strategic campaigns, blending AI-driven personalization with compelling storytelling to generate demand and drive revenue. You'll also have the opportunity to mentor and manage a small, talented team, helping them grow their skills and contribute to our overall success.

This role reports to the Vice President of Marketing and will manage 1–2 direct reports based in India.

What You’ll Do   

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns that drive growth and make a tangible impact on how school districts operate. Your work will directly help districts reach families more effectively and streamline their operations. You will drive efforts across multiple platforms including email, social media, content marketing, digital advertising (paid search, display, paid social, programmatic), and webinars, with an AI-first approach to personalization, targeting, and optimization. 

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Client Experience, Product, and Marketing teams to align marketing initiatives with business objectives and create compelling, relevant campaign messaging for K-12 district buyers.

  • Manage and develop a small India-based team (1–2 direct reports) to support marketing operations, ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals and driving high-quality deliverables.
    Provide direction for email marketing campaigns, including segmentation, automation and content creation, utilizing AI to scale marketing efforts and sales outreach. 

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation among K-12 district buyers.

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Manage marketing budgets effectively and allocate resources strategically across channels.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies (especially in AI and marketing automation), and competitive landscapes within K-12 education marketing.

About You

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in integrated marketing, with a proven track record of designing and executing successful multi-channel campaigns.

  • Experience managing globally distributed teams and providing clear direction, communication, and support across time zones.

  • Deep understanding and experience marketing to K-12 district buyers, specifically at the Superintendent and Cabinet level.

  • Demonstrated AI-first mindset with practical experience leverage AI tools and strategies for enhanced marketing performance (e.g., personalization, predictive analytics, content optimizations, automation).

  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and digital advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, social media ad managers). 

  • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously and meet deadlines.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

The expected salary range for this position is $115,000 - $130,000 / year with the opportunity to earn additional compensation pursuant with K12 Insight’s corporate bonus plan. The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position, and is subject to change. Exact pay will be based on factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience and skills, market demands, internal parity and organizational needs.
